Manager - Direct Taxation (Banking Sector)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire direct taxation engagement from planning to compliance to eventual litigation, if any.
• Assist the client with international tax (including transfer pricing) planning, reports, and the review of inter-company agreements.
• Use TP databases and build an understanding of how to utilize them for the relevant market.
• Deal and communicate directly with the senior management of the client.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Follow and communicate workplace policies and procedures to team members and other staff.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in taxation within the banking sector
• Prior banking sector experience is mandatory
• Must have experience in assisting clients with international tax planning (including transfer pricing), report preparation, and review of inter-company agreements
• An advanced degree and/or professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent) are preferred
• Immediate joiners are preferred
