Assistant Manager - VAT & Excise

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

• Manage end-to-end compliance for assigned clients and supervise the associates under your team.
• Conduct Excise & VAT health checks across various industries.
• Handle regular compliance tasks, including timely VAT return reviews.
• Maintain backup data and VAT return workings in FAF related to tax compliance.
• Manage FTA Portal functions such as VAT registration amendments and filing technical clarifications, and provide ad-hoc client advice.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required in which at least 2 years must be within the UAE.
• Complete knowledge of the functionalities of FTA Portal along with experience in tasks such as VAT registration amendment, filing technical clarification, voluntary disclosure, etc.
• Experience in handling litigation with FTA/TDRC such as filing of reconsideration application, penalty waiver request, request to TDRC, etc.
